Hey Sportsfans!!
With overnight lows dipping down into the 40’s and 50’s this week, the water temperature is starting to drop. You know what that means…the bite is starting to heat up!! Our boats are still making the trek to the North side of the lake where the fishing has been steady all summer long, but we have been getting reports of some action on the mud flats in about 30 to 34 feet of water. Drifting with spinners and anchoring with 3/8 ounce jigs are the preferred methods. Throw on that hammered gold spinner or the gold, orange, and white jig and you won’t be sorry! These are always the go to colors here on Lake of the Woods.
