Happy 4th of July from Ballard’s Resort. Right now we are celebrating with the annual KFYR group from Bismarck! Yesterday was their first day fishing and WOW, talk about some beautiful weather! How’s the fishing? It’s been fair…the weather the past week has been a little…windy and rainy! We have been continuing to run up to Knight, Bridges and even up near Garden Island for the traditional shore lunch! We have been doing a mix of jigging and pulling spinners over the rock piles. Our guide boats have been boating several slot fish, nice eaters and of course we will see the occasional TROPHY walleye each day.
With it being the 4th of July holiday it feels as if summer is half over…. here at Ballard’s we still have plenty of summer. Get up here, August is prime time to catch YOUR TROPHY WALLEYE.
