Hello Sportsfans and welcome to the weekly reel at Ballard’s Resort! Hope you all had a FISH-TASTIC Labor Day weekend…I know we sure did!
Great Friends and Great Fishing…despite the rainy day Sunday our guide boats had a productive weekend forging North across the lake. A lot of good size eaters and some nice slot walleyes in the mix!
We are in a transition stage where jig fishing in the mud seems to be more prevalent in the last week or so rather than the drifting with spinners… 3/8 oz or even ¼ oz in gold or chartreuse seems to be the jig of choice.
