Transition…Transition…Transition…
Here we go…you guessed it. We are now transitioning to anchoring up and jigging. That’s right get the jigs out and get ready to go! It’s some of our favorite type of fishing on Lake of the Woods and lately…it’s been good! We are covering quite a bit of Big Traverse Bay…still seeing the best luck…you guessed it…NORTH!
Monday was quite an adventure with wind gusting up to 40 mph, yee-haw! We fished the river and didn’t catch as many walleye as we would like, but the shiners have started to run in the river! We are being optimistic in thinking the walleye fall run is right around the corner. Don’t miss out!
