Well SportsFans it’s time for another Lake of the Woods fishing report!
Not a whole lot has changed over the past week. Still a lot of drifting spinners out in the open flats. The guides tell me that hammered gold with a crawler or shiner is still the way to go! They’ve been finding the majority of fish out in the deeper 25′ range but have also found some fish shallower as well, around the 15′ range.
The one difference in this week compared to last week is that the bite has been ramped up! We saw a lot of the upper end slot fish and even quite a few trophies! We’ll see if this trend continues into the next week, but for now get out there and Set The Hook!
