Hey Sportsfans!
Ice fish or river fish? That has been the question this past week. We’ve had guests who have been doing a little of both.
For the river fisherman… As of yesterday, Saturday April 7th, Birchdale landing froze up overnight, but Frontier was open. The bite? From the reports we heard back at the camp it was a tough go. We’re hoping the temperatures will warm up and make this coming weekend a different story.
For the ice fisherman… There is still ice to make it out to the main lake. The reports have been very spotty based on what we have been hearing.
Either way, ice or river, this is your last week to get up and SET THE HOOK on a Lake of the Woods walleye! We still have limited availability for this week and weekend. Spring rates are in effect, $45 per person per night. Our bar is open through April 15th with bar baskets being served Thursday-Sunday.
