Temperature is Rising!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1613783653450{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Hey Sports Fans!

The weather is warming up and going outside is becoming bearable once again! Luckily in our heated transportation other wise known as the “bombers” kept the guests and the guides toasty warm during the long stretch of -30 degrees.

Fishing remained consistent during the cold stretch. The trophy fish are still making the occasional appearance, and once we got above the negative temperatures the keeper walleyes started coming back through the holes.

Our houses are still out around Knight and Bridges Islands fishing about 29-33’ of water. A bobber rig with a red hook jig and a live minnow has been the hot ticket from what we are hearing.

March is coming quick make sure to get a trip in while you can! #218.634.1849

Fibs, Fins, and Fun Times!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1612404166862{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Hey Sportsfans,

Well, the report is in. Guests have been catching fish but nothing too spectacular. Guests are still able to eat fish the first night and head home with a couple for their freezer after the second day!

We have been fishing about 18 miles out on the famous Big Traverse mudflats on Lake of the Woods. Fishing around Knight Island and the Knight Island Shoals we have been able to up our fish count. Seeing a little less ice then normal coming in at about 20” or so!

Popular tactics have been gold jigs, or red hooks with a live minnow for the dead stick. And something flashy/glowing  tipped with a minnow head for the jig stick. We have our houses fishing 30-33’.

Give us a call, and ask about our March fishing specials!
