All Rates Per Person
Lodging…
Our housekeeping cabins include a kitchen, complete with stovetop, refrigerator, and microwave. Each unit has a bathroom, living room, and two single beds per bedroom. There are one, two, and three bedroom cabins available. We also provide TV, air conditioning, linens, bath towels, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, cooking utensils, daily maid service, and outdoor charcoal grill.
Fishing…
Guide boats depart the dock at 800am and return to shore at 400pm. Each of our fishing guides is U.S. Coast Guard licensed. The maximum number of people allowed on a 27 ft guide boat is six, plus your guide. All angling equipment is included: rods, reels, bait, tackle, ice, on-board restroom, fish processing and freezing.
Meals…
Packages with meals start on your night of arrival and continue to morning of departure. Your choice of entrée from the evening dinner menu…Breakfast either buffet style or order from the menu pending total number of people scheduled… And lunch each day is your choice of cold sandwich style or traditional walleye shore lunch.
Prices…
All packages are based on a per person rate. Sales and lodging tax totals are also included. A group with less than six can expect additional people on the boat. Or your group can request a “No-Fill”, and pay $175.00 per empty slot to reserve the charter for your private party.
Fuel Surcharge…
The total price of a Guided Walleye Fishing Package is based on the price of gas at the time our 2024 Summer Rates were set. If the average cost of gas exceeds this amount by 15% or more, a fuel surcharge may be invoked. Due to the volatile price of gas please plan accordingly for this possibility.
Advance Deposit…
An advance deposit of $300 per person is required. Deposits are non-refundable. Guest is responsible for complete reservations made in advance.
Airline Travel…
For fastest service, travel arrangements made with Delta Airlines can be booked directly to International Falls, MN or Bemidji, MN. Rental service and chauffeur service is available from both locations.

Docking Facilities
If you plan to bring your own fishing boat up to Ballard’s, that’s great! We have dock slips for rent. The charge is $16.00 per night per space. There is a well-maintained public access near the resort for boat launching.
Our modern dock area has gas, oil, bait, tackle, and ice available morning through evening. There is also a tidy fish cleaning facility equipped with running water that is open for your personal use.
