THE BOYS ARE BUZZIN’

Hey Sportsfans!

Over the last couple of weeks, the guides had been working hard to find fish. Moving around, primarily drifting spinners, and picking up a few fish on each pass was the key to sending guests home with limits at the end of their trip. While in the pursuit to fill the brown bags full of take home fish, success was found when fishing over rock piles.

Just today, the mud bite started to show signs of life. As expected, the mud bite did not heat up slowly, it exploded. Lots of fish, lots of trophies. To put it shortly… The boys are buzzin’!

JUNE FISHING

Hey Sportsfans!

High temperatures and low winds… that’s been the story of the past week. The guides were sent searching for fish given the unusual weather, but were able to find them:

-Still hanging around the islands (Garden, Knight, Bridges)

-In shallow water, following a bug hatch (9′-22′)

-Jigging with a shiner, while drifting over rock piles

The mud bite has not yet fired up, but should start up any day as water temperatures are rising quickly. With moderate winds in the forecast this week, we anticipate a week of great June fishing.
