Fishing / Ice Update (DEC 22)

Good afternoon Sports Fans…

Lots of calls today confirming plans for post-holiday-ice-fishing (between Christmas and New Year).

– As of right now we are ice fishing, and we have our fish houses on the main lake hovering at a depth of about 20ft.

– This is a short ride just offshore from Pine Island, and in our location there is 10-12 inches of ice.

– For transportation to the fish houses we are using our small SUV Trackers, pulling enclosed and heated utility trailers, transporting 4-6 anglers at a time.

– Due to the weather and current ice conditions, our mobility is limited as far as where we can go and what we can do.

– The good news is…  In the recent days that we have been out fishing…  We are catching fish.

– If you have a question per reservations please call #218.634.1849.  Our office hours for this weekend will be Saturday (DEC 23) 700am to 900pm,  Sunday (Christmas Eve) 700am to 1100am, Monday (Christmas Day) closed, Tuesday (DEC 26) 730am to 1000pm.

December 13th Ice Report

Hey Sportsfans!

Another quick ice update…

The guides have been on the ice, checking the conditions daily. They continue to find varying thicknesses of ice. In good spots, there are 7-9″ of ice. There are still large sections of open water and spots where only 3″ of ice were found.

For groups that have reservations with us before Christmas, please be patient. We will continue to monitor the ice conditions, and will be in contact with you as soon as we have an update regarding your reservation. In the meantime, please give our office a call if you have any questions! 218.634.1849
