Hey Sportfans!
Here’s the latest and greatest… Even though the temps are starting to cool down, the fishing isn’t. We’d like to say that the fish are in the river, but we can’t just yet… We can say that the Emerald Shiners are starting to run, which is a good sign, but it’s very sporadic…meaning one night we’ll catch several gallons and the next night nothing…
Our charter boats are still heading North as weather allows. We are still tipping our jigs with a frozen shiner and jig, Jig, JIG!
Our last day of charter fishing is on Sunday October 16th, but we do have lodging packages available. If you can, make a trip to Lake of the Woods and get in one last summer fishing trip!
And don’t forget to Set the Hook…

Hey Sportfans!
Now that it’s o-fish-ally fall we can say it’s starting to feel and look it… the leaves are turning and the air has that fall smell to it!
We are still pointing the bow of the boat North where we are jig fishing anywhere from 5′-25′.
The Emerald Shiners are slowly starting to run up river…we’ll keep you updated as we know more! We did have a ‘river’ day last week… it definitely isn’t as productive as the lake yet.
Don’t miss out on fall fishing… call to book a charter spot (now through October 16th) or bring your own boat and book your lodging.
If your soft water season is over for the year, now is the time to start thinking about your Winter Ice Fishing trip. Call now and let’s look at dates!
Set the Hook!

Hey Sportfans!
Day time temperatures are beautiful. Water levels are going down. The fish are biting!
Staying consistent with the rest of the season, the guides continue trek across the lake to Little Traverse Bay. As we head into Fall, we can anticipate a South shore bite to pop up. As for now, the South shore has been quiet. Pulling spinners until finding a school of fish, then stopping to drop down a jig has been the ticket to filling the coolers.
We still have openings for open water trips this Fall. If you are looking ahead to ice fishing, our Winter Rates have been set. Our phones have been busy taking ice fishing reservations so give us a call today to set up your next fishing trip! #218.634.1849
