Where do I start? Our group has been going to Ballard’s Resort in the fall for over 25 years. It was started by my father “Larry” as a small group pulling our own boats and staying at Ballard’s World Class Resort. As the group grew and got a bit older, we decided to leave the boats home and join in on the fun of launch fishing.

Since, the group has grown to 90 fisher people. From working with the office staff on reservations, to the bartenders/servers/kitchen and cleaning staff, right down to the happy go lucky expert guides, all show a great teamwork approach and make the trip very enjoyable for our group, 90 years old down to 18 years old. I love to watch the interaction between our group and most importantly between the staff at Ballard’s. They all truly respect and care about their co-workers and the customers.

Danielle, Jessie, Nick and crew make this trip memorable and the favorite fishing trip for all. My “Dad” would be proud that my brother Scott and I have continued this tradition. Ballard’s Resort on the Lake of the Woods makes it all possible.

I have been organizing our 30 person Ballard’s August Fishing Trip for over a decade now.

It’s a star on our calendar;  we all anxiously look forward to it.

I have been informed by some of my staff & friends that this weekend is more important than Christmas.

Ballard’s Resort is in a class by itself.  Their customer service is exceptional from the reservations, cabins, food, lounge, boats, and our walleye guides are AWESOME!

I consider Ballard’s Resort and the Fairmont Vet Clinic one big happy Family.

We have over 120 people every year that attend and they cannot wait to come back. Everyone on the staff is so accommodating and it's an experience you will not forget.

Ballard's resort has been a fantastic place to bring Customers, for a Trip that our Customers never forget for the past twelve years. Our 130 plus Customers get a chance to enjoy a Fishing Trip of a life time with fantastic Guides and state of the art equipment.
