Back at it for Ballard’s 60th Walleye Opener!

Day one is behind us as we move onto day 2 with a little more insight.

The opening day of walleye fishing can go one of two ways. Good…… or great!! After all you are still out there fishing and mother nature did not disappoint with beautiful weather and calm water!

Now to talk about the reason you are here, HOW WAS FISHING? Most our guides are saying it was a slow day. But they managed to round up a shore lunch and put some smiles on guest faces so how bad could it have been?

• 15-18’ feet of water.
• The wind was calm, so must boats weren’t unanchored, drifting around.
• Jig tipped a frozen shiner.
