Hey Sportfans —

It is officially October, and our charters are still hitting the lake. 

The weather on Lake of the Woods has been nothing short of beautiful: someone in camp even asked if we could fill the pool back up to enjoy the sun. 

Our fishers are continuing to stay out front and still see consistency throughout the whole lake. Some days, they have been able to make the trek all the way across and even enjoy a nice shore lunch. While on other days they are staying on the south side, about 5-10 miles out. 

The guides reported that staying in the 20-24 foot areas is doing some good in reeling up some nice fish. 

With the warmer weather, we still haven’t reached the river. This weekend, we had some strong winds that started blowing in cooler temps. 

Hopefully, with the temps dropping this week, we will be able to start heading more south.
