Hey Sportsfans,

Fall fishing is officially here, and the fish are keeping us on our toes! The patterns have been a little irregular lately, but that’s part of the fun of fall fishing on Lake of the Woods.

We’re starting to see some shiner runs, but we’re still waiting for that big push of shiners to really get things moving. Once those baitfish numbers build, we expect the fall bite to really start heating up. 🐟

In the meantime, out front has been good, with anglers finding fish and putting some nice walleyes in the boat. The cooler water has us watching for that classic fall transition, and we’re getting closer every day.

Once again, Minnesota is showing its true climate! If you’re packing for your upcoming trip, bring it all — rain gear, coats, gloves, hats… trust me, you’ll use it all! That’s Minnesota fall fishing for you — come prepared for a little bit of everything!

The leaves are changing, the mornings are getting crisp, and you can feel that fall bite coming!

🎣 Fall is here… and we’re ready for it!

Set the Hook!
