Hey Sports Fans!
Let’s just say fishing has been an adventure on Lake of the Woods… We have had days of full buckets, and days where it’s been a grind to cover the bottom of the bucket.
Our ice houses are about 3 miles out of Pine Island sitting on anywhere from 25-30 feet of water (haven’t been able to pin-point a “hot” depth so far)
We are finding an average of 15 inches of ice on our marked trails on Lake of the Woods.
Hot colors on Lake of the Woods still have been: Gold, UV pink, and Green.
We haven’t started our travel on the Rainy River yet, due to the high-water levels and current this year.
