Hello Sports Fans!
We are back on the waters of Lake of the Woods. But this go around we are ICE FISHING! We have our Ballard’s fleet of ice houses out on the ice and our guides are busting butt to put our houses on the highly sought-after Lake of the Woods WALLEYE! The guides and fishermen today gave me a little run down of the tips and tricks they were using. First off, our ice houses are scattered between 18’-24’ FOW, sitting on 10-12 inches of ice. From my office survey the most common answer from today for a successful fishing outing is using a pink buck shot and bouncing it off the bottom!
Now that we are fishing again, I will keep on filling you guys in once a week if not more if we have any major changes!
