Week 1

6/12/17

It’s been another beautiful couple of weeks here on Lake of the Woods, honestly we’ve experienced some weather that is going to be pretty tough to beat. The water is starting to heat up (67 degrees) and fishing has been consistently good. We’re seeing a nice mix of eaters, slots and the occasional trophy fish make their way to the boat. Of course, there has be a few days here and there where weather has made it tough to get out on the lake but our guides, like always, are persistent!

We are continuing to jig but also starting to mix in spinners fishing with crawlers and shiners in anywhere from 8-20 feet of water.

Continuing the trend of heading up North, where guide boats have been hanging out around Garden Island.

There is still plenty of time to get up here this summer and SET THE HOOK!
