We’re back again with a Lake of the Woods update from Ballard’s Resort! We hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years! It was a fun one up North to say the least! We’ve had a pretty good last week or so with plenty of fish caught. Some days slower than others, but groups have been catching enough to have dinner and take fish home as well.
Now on to the important stuff… The guides are hard at work and have made a bit of a jump out further onto the lake. Our fish houses are about 8 miles out sitting over a big mud flat in about 32’34’ of water. The guides tell me from their scouting that the bite in this range is pretty steady and consistent.
