Hello Sportsfans! Hopefully everyone is enjoying the cooler weather and transition into fall. Up here on Lake of the Woods, fall is in full swing. Leaves are starting to change, and the fishing has been consistently good.
The guides have been about half and half with some jigging in 14’-25’ of water, while others are still drifting mud flats in 32’-34’. With the water temps slowly decreasing, and the shiners just starting to run, the south shore is starting to see more and more action. A gold jig with a shiner and hammered gold spinner are the go to colors.
The fall bite is just starting to heat up and should only continue to get better from here on out. Be sure to get up here and get in on the action!
